How about a dose of some lighthearted amusement with the joke of the day? Well, here it comes. This one’s entitled “The Talking Clock.”

A man walks into a store and sees a clock with a tag on it that says, “This clock talks. Try me.” He’s intrigued and asks the store owner:

“How does this clock work?”

“Just ask for the time, and it will tell you.”

“OK. Let me try.”

The man is impressed and buys the clock. He takes it home and asks it again:

“What time is it?”

After a few seconds, the clock replies:

“You’re home late!”
