The other thing I would like to say about gaining trust is that no matter what you do, or learn to do with your anatomy, when you strike, when you cause pain, in any way to that animal, you’re breaking that trust. They were racing horses with whips. And the horse actually runs slower when the are whipped. And if you think about it, if you took the Olympic foot runner, human, and whipped him, you would take his mind off of his job of running, and he would run slower. Why can’t we figure that out? If we can just try to give the horse those things that encourage them to go.
