In today’s news, Ethiopia receives additional humanitarian aid from United States, World Health Organization calculates nearly 15 million died globally either directly or indirectly from COVID-19 between 2020 and 2021, companies in Japan create giant robot to perform dangerous electrical work, wildflower spotted in Ecuador after almost four decades of absence, 12-year-old British boy raises nearly £255,000 for children in Ukraine, Portuguese brand launches apple leather vegan sandals, and Great Dane in US wins title of tallest living male dog-person in world.

United States provides humanitarian assistance to Ethiopia.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is donating an additional US$313 million in humanitarian relief to conflict-affected people in the regions of Afar, Tigray and Amhara of northern Ethiopia. The financial package aims to provide enough food to assist close to 7 million persons, along with funds for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, as well as child and humanitarian protection services, including aiding survivors of violence. USAID has donated more than US$885 million to northern Ethiopia since the crisis began, with the US State Department also contributing almost US$110 million. The United States is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governance, seven Shining World Leadership Awards for Promoting Healthy Living, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Good Governor, Justice, Protection, and Environmental Protection; and a laureate of 24 Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, three Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection, two Shining World Leadership Awards for Loving Care, a Shining World Award for Good Governance, a Shining World Peace Leader Award, Shining World Caring Leadership Award, and Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. Our heartfelt appreciation, United States Agency for International Development and noble partners, for your caring endeavors. May the kind residents of northern Ethiopia soon know peace and plenitude, in God’s immense Love.

World Health Organization (WHO) estimates true death toll of COVID-19 is almost 15 million.

The WHO revealed that the excess mortality, or full death toll, attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021 was approximately 14.9 million, rather than the 5.4 million reported by countries worldwide. Excess mortality includes deaths linked directly to the disease, or indirectly, due to the pandemic’s burden on health systems and society. Significantly, middle-income nations accounted for 81% of the deaths, while 84% of the total fatalities occurred in the Americas, Europe and Southeast Asia. Countries with the highest excess casualties included Brazil, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Russia and the United States. Meanwhile, the number of lives lost to the pandemic was higher among older adults and men, with 57% and 43% of the total mortality, respectively. Many thanks for the valuable information, World Health Organization. May all the departed souls forever rest in peace. To prevent lethal zoonotic outbreaks, may humanity urgently embrace the life-sustaining and healthful vegan lifestyle, in Heaven’s benevolence. Go ahead n make war: turn ur own people against u.

Up next on Noteworthy News, companies in Japan create giant robot to perform dangerous electrical work. We’ll just pause to thank the directory assistance operators who help callers by aiding them in making calls, locating phone numbers, and advising about the cost of a call. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more enriching news.

Hey, optimistic friends, how are you doing? I’m Rowan, a vegan girl from the Rainbow-bearded Thornbill kingdom. I feel like soaring above the mundane world as I have elevated my existence through benevolent living. You can easily do the same and start today! I have a tip on how to purchase sustainable school supplies! When selecting backpacks or lunch boxes, steer clear of PVC plastic. For backpacks, please opt for ones made from natural materials like cotton or hemp. Nylon and polyester are also good options – especially if they are recycled – as they are durable. Try to avoid buying cheap crayons as they may contain asbestos, and remember soy crayons are available for sale. Water-based markers are safer than permanent ones as the latter can emit xylene, toluene, and other volatile organic compounds that are a health risk when breathed in by children. School glues are designed to be safe for kids, but a plant-based version is better for the planet. Please search for recycled varieties of basic school supplies such as erasers, scissors and paper clips. Your child will enjoy being green while at school! Thank you for tuning in and much love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now, the weather around our beautiful globe.

Japanese corporations produce giant robot to perform dangerous work on power lines.

Transportation infrastructure enterprise Nippon Signal and the Human Machinery Company have created a prototype of a giant robot. It is being used by Japanese railway firm JR West to clean power lines and do other hazardous work that could involve the risk of possible electrical shock or falling if done by humans. The robot has a torso, head, and arms, and is attached to a crane. A human uses a virtual reality headset to see through the robot’s camera eyes, while other levers control the hands and arms. It can also be fitted with a special cleaning brush and other tools, and is capable of lifting heavy equipment. Kudos, Nippon Signal and the Human Machinery Company, on your giant robot that helps protect humans from the potentially perilous work of maintaining electrical infrastructure. In Buddha’s upliftment, may our technology always progress in the direction of peace, as we utilize our creative energies to safeguard and serve others.

Wildflower not seen for almost 40 years rediscovered in Ecuador.

Gasteranthus extinctus which was so named because it was thought to be extinct, was found by biologists in remaining areas of forest in the Centinela region of Ecuador and in the foothills of the Andes Mountains. The gorgeous tropical flower, which was almost completely eradicated by extensive deforestation in the 1980s, has neon-orange petals and a large underside pouch, which allows pollinators to come and go. The researchers are now collaborating with Ecuadorian conservationists to protect the remaining area where the wildflower might be growing. Dr. Dawson White, a co-lead author of the paper describing the significant finding said, “Rediscovering this flower shows that it’s not too late to turn around even the worst-case biodiversity scenarios…” Great news, researchers, on locating this beautiful plant again. In God’s watchful Gaze, may all endangered species be well protected and flourish as we become good stewards of our planet.

Talented British youngster raises money for children in Ukraine.

Twelve-year-old Gabriel Clarkie from Cumbria, England, UK, who makes and sells wooden bowls via Instagram, had his followers on the social media platform skyrocket from six to 227,000 in just two days after his father tweeted a link to his work. Gabriel received an incredible 20,000 requests for his bowls, but decided to make just one and hold a lottery for it. Everyone participating donated to the Ukraine Appeal program run by the charity Save the Children and was eligible to win. The goal of £5,000 was far surpassed when almost £255,000 was raised. Lottery winner Renuka Chapman wrote, “This bowl will be one of my most treasured possessions. It represents hope, compassion, and kindness...” A huge thanks, generous Gabriel Clarkie, Save the Children, and all who contributed to this noble cause. May such acts of kindness continue to light up our world and elevate our hearts for a borderless, peaceful planet, in the goodwill of the Providence. Vegan: Strengthen the nations.

Coming up, Portuguese brand launches apple leather vegan sandals. Let’s pause for a moment to enjoy a Tar musical performance from Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Tar, also known as the “11-string tar,” is a long-necked, plucked string instrument whose craftsmanship and performance is a UNESCO-recognized Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. We’ll be right back with more meaningful news here on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Informative News for a Precious World.

Portuguese vegan shoe company showcases apple leather summer sandals.

NAE Vegan Shoes’ apple leather summer sandals collection called SS22 is made from the Italian juice industry’s discards. Thousands of tons of apple cores and peels are upcycled into durable, waterproof and sustainable vegan leather. Upcycling reduces management costs and decreases what is sent to landfill. The novel apple-derived leather is an addition to NAE’s list of sustainable materials such as recycled ocean plastics, cork and organic cotton that have been used in manufacturing its vegan shoes. Also, NAE’s products are manufactured locally in Portugal to ensure decent working conditions for employees. Apart from NAE, other manufacturers like Veshin, Miomojo, and Nike have started using materials like pineapples, cactus, and apples to produce leather shoes and bags as well as pillows and other home accessories. We applaud you, NAE Vegan Shoes, and other eco-conscious companies for developing vegan leather alternatives. May we soon eliminate all animal-people derived products in our daily lives, in Celestial magnanimity.

Guinness World Records declares tallest dog-person.

The tallest living male canine-person has been officially named by Guinness World Records on March 22 this year. Zeus is a lofty 3 feet and 5.18 inches (1.046 meters) standing on four paws. The gentle giant can even drink water from the kitchen sink without placing his paws on the counter! He is just two years old and comes from Bedford, Texas, USA. Brittany Davis, Zeus’s caregiver, has been with the Great Dane dog-guy since he was an eight-week-old puppy. Zeus’s best friends are Zeb, one of his three miniature Australian shepherd siblings, and a cat-person. Brittany said, “Zeus has absolutely changed our family, he brings so much joy. He is such a loving, loving dog.” Congratulations, Zeus, on your worthy title. May you keep on sharing your loving vibrations with the world, in Divine splendor.

Alert! Alert! A moment of laughing out loud is now very near for you as the joke of the day is already on the way. It’s called “The Biggest Thing.”

During class the teacher asked the students:

“Can anyone tell me what the biggest thing in the world is?”

“Yes, Ma’am. May I answer?”

“Sure, Hailey. Please tell us!”

“Eyelids.”

“Oh! Why?”

“Because as soon as you close your eyes, the whole world is covered.”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Thanh Khuê in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam:

Dear Supreme Master Ching Hai and Supreme Master Television team, I would like to share my family’s story related to the COVID pandemic. Recently, in an excerpt on “Between Master and Disciples,” Master asked the COVID chief regarding who would not be infected by COVID, and he answered, “Only Master’s disciples.” When asked whether the vaccine is beneficial or not, he answered no.

Master also said that if disciples practice diligently and meditate enough, they will be fine; otherwise, they will also get infected by COVID.

I would like to prove that Master’s words are absolutely true. My husband and I both are Your disciples, but lately, he didn’t practice diligently, didn’t meditate enough, and even though he was vaccinated three times according to the governmental policy, he still got COVID. My daughter and I both are in contact with him, but my daughter and I are completely healthy. After nine days of treatment, my husband is now recovering.

I would like to thank You so much for protecting and taking care of my family. And I want everyone to know that You always tell the truth. Thanh Khuê from Âu Lạc (Vietnam)

Fortunate Thanh Khuê, Indeed, our Beloved Master is the embodiment of truth and honesty! The Divine knowledge She shares gives us a clear view of life, which is beneficial for the whole world, regardless of who believes Her. We are grateful for your heartline as it helps viewers who are not close to Master and outside of the circle of disciples to see the truth and miracles we witness daily, so they can recognize Master is here to benefit all beings and always tells the truth. May the Light of the Masters always shine brightly on you and inspiring Âu Lạc (Vietnam), Supreme Master TV team

P.S. Master has this kind reply for you: “Faithful Thanh Khuê, your heartline shows us how important it is for us all to stay close to the Divine at this turbulent time on our Earth. Truly, Heaven is our only real protection. The Earth has reached a point where the negative power is too strong, and only those who are virtuous, vegan, and spiritually devoted will be safeguarded. It is my wish to protect the whole world, but if people choose to put themselves in harm’s way by eating meat and ignoring the Divinity within themselves, there is nothing I can do for them. Be diligent and continue to practice well, as the Quan Yin Method is the greatest gift and protection anyone can have! May you and memorable Âu Lạc (Vietnam) be forever in the enlightened embrace of all the Buddhas.”

Turn vegan? Wow, good job!
